Two more places in Olds were designated as municipal historic resources last week at council's regular meeting. The two that were designated — the W.M. Craig house and Urban Rootz — bring the total number of designated structures in Olds to nine.

Olds town council directed the Olds Rapids Swim Club to approach local service clubs for funds before appearing at council again at the April 26 meeting. Representatives from the club appeared before council last week.

Employees of the Didsbury Dollar Store are beginning to relax after watching in disbelief as a silver Toyota Corolla drove through the shop's front doors stopping next to the register.
